Will my mixed breed chihuahua eat this?

Hi Robert, our Small Dog Beef & Egg Recipe is formulated to be complete and balanced for dogs of all breeds and all life stages. When feeding a Freshpet recipe for the first time, we suggest a slow transition over 7-10 days to help avoid food refusals and digestive upset. Ease the transition by mixing a small amount with your pup's current food and slowly increase the portion of the Freshpet recipe over time. You can find more tips on transitioning here: https://www.freshpet.com/blog/how-to-transition-your-pet-to-fresh-food Hope this helps!

False advertising for beef and egg sm dog. My dog has a chicken allergy & started licking her paws excessive I purposely purchased thinking it was “beef” on front as other pkgs clearly said chicken. I looked at the back of beef pkg & it says chicken??

Does your food have choline bitartrate in it?

Hi Jamie, Choline is a vitamin all dogs need and is very important for a healthy nervous system, among other important body functions. This essential vitamin comes in many forms, and while choline bitartrate is a common source of choline in other pet food brands, at Freshpet we use choline chloride as a source of choline in all of our diets. Choline chloride is a safe form that is highly water-soluble (dissolves readily in water) and supports your pup’s overall well-being and health. You’ll see it listed with the other essential vitamins on the ingredient list. We hope this helps!
