Freshpet has announced a major new addition to its leadership team: Dr. Lisa Weeth, DVM, DACVIM (Nutrition) — one of fewer than 90 board-certified veterinary nutritionists in the United States — has joined the company full-time as Head of Veterinary Research and Communications after more than 15 years serving as a trusted nutrition advisor.

Who Is Dr. Lisa Weeth? 

A board-certified veterinary nutritionist with more than two decades of clinical experience. 

Dr. Lisa Weeth is one of the most respected and recognizable names in veterinary nutrition. With board certification through the American College of Veterinary Nutrition (ACVN, now under ACVIM) and more than 20 years of clinical experience, she is a leading authority on canine and feline nutrition. 

Dr. Weeth’s Key Credentials:

• DACVIM (Nutrition) - Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Nutrition, certified in 2007
