Freshpet Veterinary Professionals Discount Program Terms & Conditions

 

 

Eligibility & Program Scope

• Offered to veterinarians, veterinary technicians/technologists, others employed in U.S. veterinary practices, and those studying veterinary medicine at accredited veterinary or technician schools (collectively, “Participants”). Void where prohibited or restricted by law or employer/clinic policy.
• Participants must be located in the United States to participate.
• Coupons are intended primarily for personal/household use by the Participant. Participants may distribute coupons to clients as a courtesy. Coupons are not for resale, barter, or transfer for value.

Limits & Validity

• Not combinable with other offers unless expressly stated. No cash back. No cash value except as required by law.
• Each coupon lists an expiration date; expired coupons will not be honored. Limits per transaction and product exclusions may apply; see coupon face.

Products & Channels

• Valid only on eligible Freshpet pet food products.
• Accepted at participating retailers at retailer’s discretion. Retailer terms may apply.

No Inducement; Independence of Clinical Judgment

• Participation is not conditioned on recommending, stocking, displaying, or otherwise promoting Freshpet products. No compensation is provided based on referrals or sales.

FTC Endorsement & Disclosure Requirements

If you publicly endorse or recommend Freshpet or its products (e.g., on social media, blogs, clinic websites, or other public channels) and you receive coupons or any other value from Freshpet, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires you to clearly and conspicuously disclose this material connection.

• Disclosures must be easy to understand, placed close to the endorsement, and not hidden in profiles or behind links. Examples of acceptable disclosures include: “I received discounted products from Freshpet.”
• Do not make false or misleading claims about Freshpet products. Only share truthful experiences and avoid disease-related claims.

Prohibited Uses & Fraud

• Coupons may not be duplicated, altered, sold, auctioned, traded, or transmitted for compensation. Freshpet may void coupons suspected of fraud, misuse, or unauthorized distribution.

Communications

• By enrolling, you agree to receive operational emails about coupon issuance and quarterly continuation and to be contacted to obtain your feedback on the program and Freshpet products.

Tax & Reporting

• Participants are responsible for any tax obligations arising from receipt or use of coupons, to the extent applicable.

Privacy

• What we collect: Your name; professional title; mailing address; email address; clinic/practice name, location, and phone number; pet information and photograph; and program interactions (e.g., coupon issuance/redemption metadata, email preferences).
• How we use it: To verify eligibility; mail coupons; to confirm your ongoing interest in participating in the program; and administer fraud prevention. We may also contact you to obtain your feedback on the program and Freshpet products.
• Legal basis/consent: By submitting this form, you request enrollment and consent to receive operational emails about the program and to be contacted to obtain your feedback on the program and Freshpet products. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Sharing: We share data with service providers (e.g., mailing houses, email platforms, fraud/analytics vendors) under contract; we do not sell your personal information.
• Retention: We retain your data for as long as you participate in the program and as needed to comply with law and program auditing; we then delete it.
• Your choices: You may update your info or withdraw from the program at any time using the links in our emails or by contacting feedingprogram@freshpet.com.
• State notices: Depending on your state, you may have additional privacy rights (access, deletion, correction, portability). See our full Privacy Policy for details and how to exercise your rights.

Program Changes

• Freshpet may modify these T&Cs or modify or end the program at any time, with prospective effect, subject to applicable law.
