Freshpet kitchens are registered with APHIS and the FDA, and all of our meals undergo over 20 quality and safety tests before leaving our kitchens. We conduct rigorous testing on every batch of food to ensure it meets strict safety standards and have discovered no issues.
Like any fresh and perishable food, Freshpet should be handled and stored according to package instructions. Freshpet should be kept in the refrigerator and used or frozen within 7 days of opening.

We take any concerns regarding our food very seriously which is why we must address when misleading information circulates claiming issues with our food. We have conducted due diligence in addition to rigorous product testing and have discovered no issues. We have received no documentation or vet records to support these claims.
