- How is this personalized for my dog(s)?
Every dog is different. We design a complete and balanced custom meal plan based on your dog’s weight, age, gender, physical condition, activity level, sensitivities, and health goals. We recommend recipes that fit your dog’s preferences, provide feeding guidelines specific to your dog for optimal nutrition, and deliver the food on a schedule that is best fit for you and your dog.
- How is Freshpet Custom Meals different than other Freshpet brands and products?
Freshpet Custom Meals is a subscription meal plan delivered straight to your door exclusively through Petco. Like all Freshpet brands, the products are made fresh starting with natural chicken, beef, salmon, eggs, fruits & veggies and never any powdered meat meals or preservatives.
- Do you ship nationwide?
Freshpet Custom Meals is not currently available nationwide, but we will be soon! Visit Petco.com to see if Freshpet Custom Meals is available for delivery in your area.
- How do I manage my subscription?
Once you are a subscriber, your repeat delivery and profile can be managed from your Petco Repeat Delivery Management Page.
- Can I freeze the products?
We recommend serving our food fresh from the fridge for the best results as all Freshpet Custom Meals products are designed to be stored in your refrigerator. After opening a package, the contents of the bag should be served within 7 days. You can choose to freeze any unused portions or unopened bags for later use. Be aware that you may see a slight change in color and texture when thawed, but this won’t change the nutritional value or taste of our meals. We recommend using within one month of freezing for optimal freshness. However, recipes can be frozen for up to 6 months.
